Let’s start the Installation of Ubuntu on Virtual Box.
Need ISO file click here. Here, i am using Ubuntu 20.10. With screenshot.
- Open Virtual Box
2. Click on “New” to create a virtual machine, Enter Name for your Virtual Machine and Select “Linux” Operating System from “Type” and select version either its 32-bit or 64-bit
3. Enter amount of memory (RAM) =4096 MB (According to my configuration) . Here you use 50% of your RAM and click “Next”
4. Click “Create” to create a virtual hard drive
5. Go with defaults and click “Next”
6. Click “Next”
7. Enter Size of Virtual Hard Drive = 30 GB you can give according to your requirements and click “Create”
8. Select Ubuntu Virtual Machine
9. Click on “Start” to start the virtual machine
10. Select disk file source
11. Now click “add” a disk
12. After selecting the OS file to be installed click “Open”
13. Now click on “Choose”
14. Now click on “Start”
15. Here we go with Ubuntu (safe graphics)
16. Click “Install Ubuntu”
17. Select your language and keyboard layout and click “Continue”
18. Here we go with normal installation and uncheck for Download updates while installing Ubuntu because it takes more time to install Ubuntu and click “Continue”
19. If you are install it in VirtualBox then go with Erase disk and install Ubuntu and click “Install Now”
20. Click “Continue”
21. Select your location and click “Continue”
22. Fill all the details and click “Continue”
23. Now the installation process will start and installation window will appear
24. Click “Restart Now”
25. When the system will get restarted Press “Enter”. And then Login with user name and password
26. Congratulations you have successfully created Virtual machine and install Ubuntu OS on Virtual Box
